Senior-level incentive compensation system consultant to support Varicent ICM system within Truist Insurance Holdings. Design, analyze, configure, modify, test, and maintain complex compensation plans to meet business needs and corporate objectives

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.  Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below.  Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Design, build, maintain, and extend data models within Varicent ICM platform.
2. Provide team members and users with assistance solving application related problems, such as integration of plan designs within Varicent ICM system or reporting dashboards.
3. Analyze requirements, plan and design system tables / components using techniques, such as structured analysis, data modeling and information engineering.
4. Perform quality assurance testing of system configuration and modifications to data input and output processes to ensure end-to-end data integrity
5.  Provide timely response to assess and analyze complex issues and technical problems.  Determine root causes and recommend appropriate process or system changes to avoid future issues.
6. Develop, document and revise system SOP’s (procedures), define test procedures and quality standards.
7.  Provide process definition and best practices leadership that fosters efficiency, effectiveness and flexibility in systems design and implementation to maximize system value.

8. Coordinate data integration (ETL) for data preparation and integration for compensation calculation execution.

Required Skills and Competencies:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology-related field, (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent education and related training
2. Five years of experience in Varicent or equivalent proficiency in an incentive compensation management system.

3. Demonstrated ability to write complex logical queries to facilitate calculations and reporting in MS SQL and to create complex formulas in Microsoft Excel

4. Ability to initiate action, adapt to change, make difficult decisions and accept challenging assignments and special projects
5.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to express complex technical and business concepts in terms that are understandable to all levels within the business.
