Job Summary:

Movies Anywhere is the next generation of in-home entertainment, providing an unparalleled digital entertainment experience. Leveraging cutting edge technology, unique partnerships, and a talented team, Movies Anywhere is an exclusive, cross-platform, cloud-based movie service that enables consumers to seamlessly discover, grow, access, and enjoy their personal digital movie collection across a variety of studios, retailers, and platforms all in one convenient app and/or website.

Responsibilities:

· Design and conduct user studies to gauge the perception and usability of new and existing product features.

· Make concrete, data-driven recommendations for change based on your findings.

· Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional team members throughout the process.

Basic Qualifications:

· Experience conducting user research.

· Strong understanding of strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during each product phase.

· Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication, negotiation and collaboration skills.

· Authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Relevant work/project experience in an applied research setting including but not limited to integrating user research into product designs and design practices.

· Knowledge of statistics and the principles of experiment design.

· Experience using analytics to formulate and inform user research questions.

· Experience authoring and running user surveys.

· Experience using the UserTesting.com platform.

Required Education

· Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in human computer interaction, cognitive psychology, information science, or a related field, and graduating in 2022, 2023 or 2024.

· Must be currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to the program after completion of the internship.

Additional Information:

  • At the time of application, must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Must provide full work availability
  • Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are May/June - August/September 2022. Interns must be fully available for the duration of a 12 week assignment.
