Principal Accountabilities:
- Operating and maintaining a dynamic and continuous process flow
- Maintaining the facility to exceed regulatory and customer requirements
- Conducting efficiency tests and collecting/analyzing product samples
- Interfacing with customers and carriers of our products
- Problem solving and troubleshooting
- Compliance to environmental, health and food safety requirements
- Learning and utilizing computer systems and new technology
- Performing minor maintenance
- Developing and participating in individual/group skill development training
- Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Other duties as assigned​​​​
Required Qualifications:
- Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
- Cargill requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old
- Must be able to perform physical job duties such as bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting
- Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Must be able to operate machinery and heavy equipment
- Must be able to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work overtime, holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts with advance notice
