Job Description
The Marketing Coordinator for the Great Lakes West region participates in the development, execution and tracking of Division marketing campaigns and events.
Here is what you can expect day to day:
- Plans, coordinates resources, and executes industry, sales and marketing events, promotions, marketing campaigns, and food shows in support of long range planning and divisional goals.
- Collaborates with internal and external teams (supplies, brokers etc.) to ensure the success of marketing campaigns and events
- Utilizes business reporting to identify and track return on investment for campaigns and events.
- Determines and appropriately manages budget and expense of campaigns, print and events for the division marketing department. Signs contracts related to events.
- Attends and contributes to meetings and activities as requested in support of identified needs and division meetings as appropriate.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications:
- Three years previous marketing experience with an emphasis on campaigns, event management, and business reporting or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License required.
- This position requires creative and analytical thinking; the employee also must have excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills to assist with the strategic development and implementation of marketing campaigns.
- Must have industry knowledge and be able to use profitability models, analyze and interpret data to build relationships, network and resource link. Segment specific knowledge is beneficial.
- Ability to instruct and provide training on campaign needs.
