The Opportunity
Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) and Phantom Works International (PW-I) is now recruiting for an experienced military aircrew member with fast/large jet operational experience and/or extensive large Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) operational experience to join the Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E-Aus) team. This work represents the future of Australian and International military aviation, complementing both manned aircraft and other unmanned/autonomous weapon systems. Your efforts within the BT&E-Aus team will contribute to Australian designed, built and operated autonomous systems that are destined to change the nature of military capability.
Responsibilities
As an Operator within the BT&E-Aus team, you will:
As an aviation Operations specialist within BT&E-Aus, you will play a critical role in the end to end development and test of unmanned autonomous systems. You will also be directly in control of UAS during ground and flight test activities, and therefore play a central role in the team\'s success. Your experience in operating jet aircraft in contemporary military environments makes you an ideal candidate for joining our team in this pivotal role. The role is based in South East Queensland.

About You
You are an experienced military aviator, with the right attributes to work within a leading-edge environment that is inventing the future. You are a highly competent aviation specialist within your field, an innovator, a strong collaborator and a problem solver. You will also bring other attributes, such as a broad experience of aircraft types, sensors, weapons and unmanned platforms and developmental/acceptance/operational test experience. Please note that applicants must be Australian Citizens in order to meet Defence security clearance requirements. A current security clearance is highly desirable.
