Underwriting Trading Lead London & Southeast - £80,000 - £110,000

A bit about the job:

The purpose of the role is to lead and direct four Underwriting teams in our Mid-Market Broker business. You will be responsible for delivery of plan, development of our people and control of risk. You will need to be proficient in use of data and portfolio understanding. You will operate in a matrix structure with the need to influence and engage with colleagues around you to deliver outcomes for the business.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Strong People management leadership skills

• Strong technical ability

• Have a market presence and can understand marketplace from SME all the way through to mid-market

• Operational knowledge – strong ability to navigate

• Relentless ability to deliver plan and have a successful track record of running a team

What you’ll get for this role:

• Starting salary between £80,000 - £110,000 depending on skills, experience, and qualifications
