UKSV are currently undertaking a unique and exciting modernisation programme, a key outcome being the creation of our new security clearance service. As a brand new service, it will support the future process for issuing, maintaining, evaluating and updating security clearances across government. We need people with digital, data and technology skills to help us succeed.
UKSV are creating brand new multi-disciplinary product teams who will own, iterate and improve our new suite of products and services across discovery, alpha, beta and live phases. These teams will build modern products and services that meet users' needs and underpin personnel security and risk assessment across government.

A test engineer is responsible for writing, debugging and refactoring test code.
At this level, you will:
• Work closely with software developers to reach a common understanding of the code base and test coverage at unit level
• Collaborate with analysts to make sure the required business scenarios are covered in the acceptance test scripts
• Test engineers work on both functional and non-functional areas of an application
• Coach and mentor testers
