UKSV are currently undertaking a unique and exciting modernisation programme, a key outcome being the creation of our new security clearance service. As a brand new service, it will support the future process for issuing, maintaining, evaluating and updating security clearances across government. We need people with digital, data and technology skills to help us succeed.
UKSV are creating brand new multi-disciplinary product teams who will own, iterate and improve our new suite of products and services across discovery, alpha, beta and live phases. These teams will build modern products and services that meet users' needs and underpin personnel security and risk assessment across government.

A Lead Service Designer is an expert practitioner who influences and mentors others.
At this level, you will be expected to:
• Work with service managers and programme directors to develop design concepts
• Set direction, assure the quality of design delivery across teams and lead multiple or highly complex services

You know how to coach and lead teams in Agile and Lean practices, determining the right approach for the team to take and evaluating this through the life of a project. You can think of new and innovative ways of working to achieve the right outcomes.
