Truck Driver Job Responsibility:

Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centersInspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenancePlan routes and meet delivery schedulesDocument and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving and retain fuel/toll receiptsInput “macros” into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading processComply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and proceduresManeuver trucks into loading or unloading positionsCollect and verify delivery instructionsReport defects, accidents or violationsTruck Driver Job Duties:Alblas permanently hires professional truck drivers for international transport of goods.Based on your experience and wishes, we will find you a suitable job within our company.Our activities can be divided into the following departments: Linehaul: International transport performed on fixed 

routesFlowers: 

Transport for flower business from the Netherlands to Germany and Poland. 

Chemicals: 

International transport-LTL transport, multiple transport orders combined in a single trip. There are multiple work programs available:-From Monday to Friday, off during weekends-1.8 weeks at work, extended weekend off-6 weeks at work, 2 weeks at off Alblas offers you the possibility to be assigned to a certain truck or apartment (apartment used for driver change for certain trips).Next to the truck, you are also assigned to a dispatcher in your own language. The trips are regular to certain regions and countries so you will be able to adapt to the specifics of loading or unloading locations very easily.The height of the salary based on your skills, your experience and the work schedule. Truck Driver Job Requirements and Skills:

Proven work experience as a Truck Driver Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc)Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendationsTrucking school diploma  Valid truck driving licence Truck Driver Job Qualifications: Prefer at least 3 years, recent Class C/CE driving, preferably pulling a 18m trailer. Clean driving record.Good understanding of traffic and truck driving related regulations. Affinity for innovation and good basic understanding of technology would be preferred. Native German language. Good English language proficiency, spoken and written.Safety minded. Modesty. Integrity. Always learning. Interested in technology. Collaborative. Inclusive. Supportive. . Able to adjust to change. Truck Drivers move goods across the country by truck or tractor-trailer. Depending on an industry's fleet size requirements, their routes can be regional or national. Truck Drivers transport finished goods and raw materials over land to manufacturing plants or retail distribution centers. They must also inspect their vehicle's mechanical state and perform preventative maintenance on their truck. They must, in addition, plan routes that will get them there quickly. Great Truck Drivers should always be on the lookout for problems, no matter how small they seem. They should make sure that their skills and knowledge will never be out-of-date. This ensures that they can fix problems themselves when something goes wrong. A Truck Driver often works independently, rarely interacting with others on their delivery travels. However, sometimes they may work alongside Warehouse Workers, who unload and load items into trucks in which the drivers operate.
