In this role you take care of the shipments and you are fully accountable for the planning and administrative execution of all physical shipments to our global Travel Retail customers and intercompany locations. Prioritization and on-time deliveries with accuracy in the execution of the daily tasks is one of the major responsibilities. You will take care of the execution of the shipping procedures at the right cost, between the logistics team who handled the physical operations and the customer service community dedicated to each region.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Control the transportation flow of the defined mode of transportation (Air/Ocean/Road) for our Distribution Centers.
- Act as main operational link with forwarding agents and transportation companies on daily basis for topics such as but not limited to shipping volume, special cases and urgencies, routing analysis, transit times evaluation, pre-booking, etc.
- Perform the administrative execution of all the activities related to outbound shipments daily and update the systems.
- Be accountable to launch RFPs for new destinations in the category assigned and assess the allocation together with the Transportation Manager.
- Check clearance of Transit Documents daily and keep close contact with Customs and 3rd Party Service provider to ensure constant data flow. Solves issues with customs self-dependent.
- Coordinate handover of documents and information flow with forwarding agents, customs brokers and truck drivers.
- Print dispatch documents and secure document conformity and correct discrepancies.
- Define priorities for the logistic operations team to ensure readiness on departure schedules.
- Monitor proper dispatch of shipments from the Swiss Distribution Centers up to arrival at any destination according to the INCOTERM & coordinate on-hold shipments.
- Ensure full compliance for established regulations related to international transportation as; Known Shipper, IMDG, IATA, ARD.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who brings:
- Minimum 2 years’ working experience in an international company
- Proven track record in export and dispatch disposition or forwarding business
- Aussenhandelsfachmann/frau (Export Professional) certification is an advantage
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail & strong problem-solving ability
- Team-player attitude and adaptability to a fast-moving growth organization
- Ability to work in a matrix organization, and effectively across multiple tasks and priorities
- Demonstrated knowledge in customs regulations and know-how of the IMO/IATA/ADR regulations & familiarity with Incoterms
- Best-in-class ERP IT Systems knowledge (SAP SD/WM), WMS, Advanced use of Microsoft Office tools (Macros, Pivot tables, database design), MS project is a plus
- An experience as an apprentice within the forwarding or transportation industry is an asset
- Business fluency in both German & English
