Transportation Recording Clerk II – Decatur, IL
This is a full-time, non-exempt level position.
 
Job Responsibilities:

• Process LTL and/or truckload invoices in various systems: paper, EDI, web, Maximo
• Responsible for averaging freight payments within 15 days
• Manage relationships with assigned carriers
• Run and review various error and aging reports
• Address emails from carriers in a timely manner
• Sort and process incoming mail
• Scan and save documents
• Manage incoming calls regarding open freight

Above tasks must be completed as stated above. Duties are subject to change and list does not include all responsibilities.

Job Requirements:

• H.S. diploma or GED required plus minimum of 2 years equivalent general office/accounting experience preferred
• Excellent data entry, keyboard, multi-line telephone and ten key skills
• Basic understanding of mathematical/accounting procedures is required
• Attention to detail and the ability to locate discrepancies are essential for this position
• Ability to work independently as well as on a team
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Knowledge of Maximo, OPGO, CICS, and IMS systems preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is required
