The Transportation Operations Business Process Expert (BPX) works with Key Users and other key resources to develop and deliver capability. This position allows the Transportation organization to efficiently govern, plan, execute, monitor, and improve their operations. You must have deep understanding on business work processes, standards, and the systems used in those processes. In this role you will leverage your Key User Network to reapply and develop solutions to meet current and future needs. Expected to be very autonomous in executing the duties related to governance, mastery and innovation.

Technical Mastery â€“ The individual should understand and train others how to use systems and technical tools used in the job and how to execute work process and document standard of operations. Participates in efforts to develop, design, and deliver integrated data solutions.

Leadership - As an expert in systems and work processes the BPX is expected to provide coaching, direction, leadership, and training to multiple business partners. Lead Key User capability meetings to develop network and build capability within existing solutions and deploy new solutions. BPX contributes to projects/teams outside normal daily tasks and encourage change within the team.

Thinking / Problem Solving & Decision Making - BPX will drive to root cause on problem solving and implements systemic solutions. The BPX is responsible for problem identification, communication, and facilitating problem resolution using knowledge and experience.

Communication/Influence - Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for this role. Actively participates and contributes to Global and Regional meetings.

Innovates and Reapplies â€“ This individual must work independently, be self-motivated, and recognizes opportunities to improve team effectiveness, processes, or work systems. The BPX must pro-actively engage others to ensure understanding, drive clarity, propose improvement and re-apply knowledge.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

• 3+ years systems and process experience

• Advanced skills in PC applications

• No relocation offered for this position

Preferred:

• Highly desired knowledge in Transportation systems like TMS & SAP

• Tableau experience desired
