Job Purpose and Impact

The Transportation and Logistics Business Analyst will be the main driver of data and analytics for the enterprise inside transportation. In this role, you will ensure that metrics, dashboards, and analysis are transformed into information that drives business decisions. The role will focus on all modes of transportation from tender to payment.

Key Accountabilities

• Provide thorough analysis and crosschecks of transport execution files.
• Prepare dashboards and metrics to support all modes of transportation templates for upload according to the relevant mode of transport requirements.
• Maintain the necessary data into the respective ERP and transportation system.
• Utilize knowledge of transportation, contractual and system solutions towards achieving data accuracy.
• Responsible for setting up cost-saving negotiations.
• Assist resolution of issues regarding payments, invoices, freight charges and non-rate charges.
• Provide freight pricing to the commercial team.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned

• Position is based in Wayzata, MN or Wichita, KS.
• Relocation assistance is not provided for this role.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years of related work experience.
• Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet applications.
• Experience in information technology, finance or transportation and logistics.
• Strong proficiency working with data in multiple systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data analytics applications such as: Power BI, Tableau.
• Experience of enterprise resource planning systems such as: SAP.
• Experience of transportation management systems.
• Experience in supply chain and operational functions.
