We are working in partnership with oneof our Dartford based clients to recruit a permanent Transport Planner, whowill be based within the Transport Department.

As the Transport Planner you will be responsiblefor ensuring that an efficient transport planning process is in place to meetagreed delivery schedules and customer requirements using a fully trained andassessed driver workforce. Optimising the fleet use whilst achieving servicelevels, cost criteria and human resource commitments. As you will be assistingthe Transport Supervisor with other duties as and when required you will need aflexible approach to work duties.

For this role you will need to have an extensiveknowledge of the UK road network with a very good understanding of Working TimeDirectives and EU Drivers Hours. You should also have the ability to prioritiseworkloads whilst working to tight deadlines. A full driving licence is requireddue to working within the Transport team.

Hours: Monday to Friday 11am - 8pm
