Job Purpose and Impact
The Transactional Planning Process Lead will coordinate short term supply chain strategies and across networks. In this role, you will monitor key integrated business planning performance indicators, cost to serve performance data and help coordinate cross functional work teams.
Key Accountabilities
- Maintain data relevant to network distribution planning activities including capacity, constraint, logistics, supplier, master and location data.
- Generate and execute cycle and safety stock plans for the assigned product or location, using the approved supply plan inputs.
- Train and onboard production schedulers and material planners, as well as develop standard work procedures.
- Liaison with Global IT on any system related issues.
- Create requirements plan and short term supply plan for assigned products and locations as input for the integrated business planning cycle.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
- Experience with SAP
Preferred Qualifications
- Six years of experience with at least three in inventory planning, material planning and/or production scheduling
- Experience creating and delivering training presentations
- Experience with PowerBI and Tableau
