Boeing Global Services BGS is seeking an Associate Software Engineer USAF Trainers in Berkley, MO. Training Systems is responsible for the design, development, manufacture, and maintenance of training devices for a wide variety of commercial and military aircraft everything from F-15 fighter jets to Apache attack helicopters, and even NASA\'s new Starliner spacecraft.

Position Responsibilities:

• Assists with the development, documentation and maintenance of architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems.
• Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system.
• Assists with test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met.
• Supports software project management and software supplier management functions.
• Selects, tailors and deploys processes and tools; establishes metrics.
• Performs software research and trade studies.
• Troubleshoots software issues.
• Works under general supervision

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or other technical degree
   

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 1+  years of professional experience with C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada
• Great understanding of Agile principles and hands on experience of at least one Agile software development methodology like Scaled Agile Framework.
• 1+ years of experience in embedded real-time software development.
• Experience developing, documenting and maintaining architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems
   

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years\' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
 

Hybrid/Telecommute:

This Hybrid position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. (St. Louis, MO)
