Job Description

The Housekeeping | Custodial Training Manager collaborates with Operations Training, Labor, local leaders and other partners to onboard new hires. You will focus on knowledge transfer and building a culture focused on the Guest and Cast Experience. You will provide hands-on, real-time coaching to inspire excellent performance in an environment founded on teamwork. The Housekeeping | Custodial Training manager must exercise empathy and compassion for individuals. You will assess training needs and provide job-specific coaching to enhance the skills of Cast Members in the Housekeeping and Custodial areas. You will report to the local Housekeeping Director.

Responsibilities

You Will:

  • Support onboarding, ongoing training, cyclical cleaning efforts, and align training hours to individual housekeeper needs
  • Participate in the operation with new hires, leading with care and empathy, nurturing them to succeed through coaching with a goal of Cast Member retention
  • Evaluate On Job Training and learning while partnering with training leaders, representing operational expertise and partnership with local housekeeping and custodial leaders
  • Propose training solutions and implement and sustain the training strategy
  • Strengthen the quality of training in local areas to ensure Cast Members are successful in their roles
  • Partner with Line of Business contacts on operating guides content to ensure procedures match all updates

Basic Qualifications

You Have:

  • Minimum of three years of leadership experience in Housekeeping or Custodial areas
  • Lead through compassion and empathy
  • Lead by being in the operation, being hands-on and along side Cast Members
  • Professional Partnership skills and ability to sustain partner relationships
  • Motivate teams through coaching and nurturing of cast members
  • Conduct organizational analysis and identify opportunity areas in which Operations Training can be strategic
  • Proficiency in training processes and with training resources
  • Experience assisting with the delivery and communication of training
  • Flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

Multilingual: Fluency in Spanish, Haitian-Creole or Portuguese

Required Education

High school diploma or equivalent
