About the Role
An opportunity has arisen within LMUK SS for an Administrator to work as an integral member of the Training and Assurance team at Faslane.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Training – Booking of resources, classrooms, media and preparing training material prior to delivery
Training Records – maintaining various training spreadsheets and compiling training course reports
Procurement – processing and placing purchase orders, obtaining quotations for training courses and filing all paperwork
Completing visitor access requests for course attendees
Answering incoming phone calls and enquiries
Completing general training administration tasks as directed by the Training Associate Manager
Required skills, qualifications and experience
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in a customer-facing environment
Proficient experience of Microsoft Office software suite, in particular, MS Excel
Develop strong positive relationships with colleagues and customers
Ability to prioritise workload
Desired skills, qualifications and experience
Procurement experience preferable but not essential
Knowledge of Defence Training Standards
Knowledge of the PSA
Knowledge of Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework, SVQs/Modern Apprenticeships etc.
