You’ll be responsible for designing training programmes that engage, inform, and motivate new starters in the team, so they feel ready to begin their new roles. Proactive and enthusiastic, you’ll have a talent for tailoring training materials to the relevant audience, whether that’s in the classroom or online. An in-depth understanding of training evaluation and methodology will be critical for this role, as will awareness of the ways training impacts the bottom line. This is an ideal role for a confident speaker who enjoys coaching others and helping them to succeed. As part of our friendly and supportive team, we’ll be there to support you as you grow and develop your skills, helping you go even further in the career you want.

What you’ll be doing:

• delivering competent and confident training for the induction of new starters to the team
• providing refresher training skills courses when required
• coaching new team members; offering feedback and development support
• identifying areas of improvement for business systems
• liaising with programme and change teams to ensure training materials are aligned
• ensuring the training room and facilities are well organised.

What we’re looking for:

• previous experience designing and developing training materials
• a good grasp of how to deliver training, both remotely and in a classroom environment
• good knowledge of development tools and techniques and an understanding of how people learn
• excellent understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• strong interpersonal and communication skills
• brilliant organisational / planning skills; the ability to work to tight deadlines.
