We are currently seeking an Trainee Assembly Technician for an exciting role working in a well established company based in Rochester.

Job description

Initially, the work involves refurbishing bench mounted air compressors and wall mounted nitrogen gas generators. A mix of mechanical and electrical components, working to written work instructions and procedures. A general understanding of handling tools, an understanding of mechanical and electrical safety requirements would be helpful. An interest in manual work and engineering generally would be helpful too. However training will be offered to the right candidate. Any qualifications in this area would be appreciated, but not essential.

The successful candidate will have a an enthusiastic approach and excellent work ethic with the ability to work in a small team.

Hours of work are based around 35 hours per week - Friday is an early finish! Overtime available at an enhanced rate.
