We are looking for a Trading Underwriter to join us to be aligned to a portfolio of brokers/customers to proactively develop and profitably grow their commercial book of business within Aviva!

The successful applicants will partner with brokers and customers to truly understand their wants and needs, using data insight to ensure we provide whole customer solutions.

Abit about the job:

We are looking for someone that is a multiclass underwriter who operates within agreed guidelines and authority levels to profitably grow the book of business and is used to Dealing end to end with brokers/customers. You will also need to be an active mobile underwriter and work effectively and professionally wherever you are located.

You will be working towards underwriting licence levels as appropriate to your job grade, including the requirements of the apprenticeship scheme where relevant, as well as collaborating with the team and supporting both lead trading underwriter and underwriting leader in delivering financials.

Skills and experience:

• Previous Property, Liability or Fleet Underwriting experience

• Analysis of risks and ability to communicate and present effectively to brokers and/or customers

• Working collaboratively within a large complex organisation

• Good knowledge of the FCA and other relevant regulation and legislation

• Strong commercial business acumen to create and deliver business cases

• Salary of £35,000 - £45,000(depending on skills, experience, and qualifications).
