The goal of Bloomberg Media’s Trade Marketing & Event team is to grow awareness and understanding of Bloomberg Media’s value proposition and ethos among audiences and clients. We are looking to hire a Trade Marketing & Event Specialist who will be responsible for development and execution of our trade strategy in the US. You will work closely with key stakeholders, manage trade and media partnerships as well as execute our key brand and trade marketing activities.
 
We’ll trust you to:Lead our various trade partnerships including content development and all logistics for live and virtual partner events
Lead brand activities with media partnerships and industry events
Assist with initiatives to support the commercial media sales team
Collaborate seamlessly with numerous internal partners
Manage internal events and trainings
Manage budgets and strict timelines
High level communications to executive team for pre/post event activities
 
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an individual who has extensive experience with media event marketing and implementing multi-faceted programs and partnerships within a company or agency. You will also need to be able to demonstrate excellent project management and communication skills as you will become a trusted steward of the Bloomberg Media brand. You will collaborate closely with all levels within the company as well as industry/media partners and commercial clients.
 
You’ll need to have:At least 8 years of event marketing/media experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven relationship leadership skills with the ability to manage internal partners and clients
Strong knowledge of event execution for both virtual and in person events with the ability to make recommendations and explore new opportunities
Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
Experience in planning, leading and implementing all logistical or design requirements for the event within budget
Tech savvy: You always have your finger on the pulse of the latest technology & competitive trends
Experience in integrating digital and social media tactics into key event programs and advocating for an integrated event experience approach
Ability to multi-task in a time-pressured environment, be solutions oriented
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, regions and with vendors
Confidence to question the status quo with the objective of continuous improvement
