TPM & Sustainability Lead - North America - Multiple locations

TPM & Sustainability Lead Engineer will be a member of Royal Canin North American Engineering Team reporting to Royal Canin Global Maintenance & SiG Lead. This position will support Royal Canin Region on Reliability journey deploying Mars Supply Excellence (MSE) on maintenance and Sustainability program on operations within Mars Sustainability in a Generation Plan. This role can be based at any of our Royal Canin sites in the US. This is a T3 position.

•    Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Maintenance
•    7+ years of Maintenance Management experience
•    TPM deployment, lean manufacturing experience
•    Project Management experience
•    Experience managing and developing diverse teams
 

What would your key responsibilities be?

Develops Safety awareness of maintenance associates

  • Promotes corporate safety programs and targets
  • Builds awareness presenting safety events from Royal Canin and Mars, develops sharing across sites on best practices
  • Shares and discuss findings from insurance corporate audits

Drives Maintenance Transformation through Mars Supply Excellence (MSE) deployment and MEGA program

  • Deploys Royal Canin Maintenance Strategy according to MSE PM Pillar and Royal Canin targets.
  • Responsible for on-site “Teach, Coach, Assess” activities
  • Support deployment of Royal Canin solutions for Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and for Predictive Maintenance
  • Facilitates workshops on asset maintenance using Failure Mode Effects Analysis approach
  • Co-leads with Indirect Commercial, activities on Maintenance Repair Operation (MRO) with selected suppliers

Leads Mars Sustainability in a Generation (SIG) Program, and Royal Canin SIG agenda

  • SiG ambassador: Makes SIG Program visible and active in the Region
  • Implements SIG KPIs in daily management system (FMOS) and develop usage of Energy Monitoring at sites according to standards
  • Facilitates sites SIG workshop and drives implementation of SIG Playbook

Conducts period performance review

  • Responsible for period reporting according to defined timeline. Ensures data quality
  • Leads sites period performance both on Maintenance and SIG using Global KPIs with Technical Managers and Site SiG lead

Supports Engineering Team on projects

  • Collaborates with engineering team on projects design and write up according to PM Pillar and SiG by Design standards
  • Supports design on utilities (Steam production, Compressed air, cooling, water)
  • Supports Commissioning and Validation activities related to maintenance activities

Priority Setting

  • Deploys Maintenance 3-year plan supporting business needs and Do it Best
  • Prioritizes with sites CAB projects for gap closure on SiG Playbook, energy efficiency initiatives Utilities Masterplan, Exceptional maintenance,
  • Review CAB submission prioritization with Industrial Engineers through a 3-year plan

Develops Resources

  • Participates to recruitment of Technical Manager, Reliability Manager positions and gives inputs for induction plans
  • Train and develop site SiG leader
  • Develops sites maintenance teams according to MSE deployment, coordinates technical trainings requirements across sites
  • Helps create viable career paths that ensure Talent is developed and retained within Royal Canin and Mars.

Connect Royal Canin with others segments of the Region  

  • Develops collaboration with NA Mars sites for benchmarking and innovation on maintenance and energy efficiency
