JOB PURPOSE: To provide Total Rewards services to internal customers in the areas of productivity income, retirement income, mobility, compensation, business management, and healthcare with specific focus in one or several sub-functions as assigned. The Total Rewards Analyst is an entry-level position that may progress to Sr Total Rewards Analyst.  Their role is basic quantitative analysis, communication support, data collection/maintenance and data management.

JOB DUTIES:  This is the entry level associate position in Total Rewards area with a principle responsibility to learn and gain an understanding of one or several Total Rewards sub-functions within: productivity income; retirement income; mobility; compensation; business management; and healthcare; to learn and develop skills which result from the practical application of basic analytical knowledge; and to provide assistance to Total Rewards analysts, consultants and others in the work group with planning and project work.

Key areas of responsibility encountered in this role may include any or several of the following:

• Productivity Income:  administer short-term or long-term disability benefits, workers’ compensation benefits, adoption assistance benefits.  Provide vendor management support and support to our legal team with job specific information.  Process SUB claims, disability appeals, and claims adjudication
• Retirement Income:  Pension scheme administration, non-qualified plan administration, vendor management, life insurance, business travel accident plan, voluntary benefits, or retirement plan compliance.
• Mobility:  Domestic relocation policy design or policy administration, market analysis, exception management,  and vendor management
• Compensation:  wage survey administration, third party data analysis, market analysis and benchmarking, salary grade and merit structure for India payrolls, compensation policy creation and implementation, and compensation consulting.
• Business Management:  administer budget and forecasting, billing, provider contracts, project management, compliance, governmental affairs, project strategy, planning and prioritization.
• Healthcare:   administer medical, dental, vision, prescription drug plans.  Provide planning, guidance and administrative support for healthcare networks, FSA administration, wellness initiatives, vendor quality analysis, pharmacy benefit manager effectiveness, credentialing, informatics and data analysis, CPI analysis, claims adjudication and appeals, and Canadian benefits.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:  Requires 2-4 years working experience in Total Rewards or equivalent experience. A degree or equivalent certification is desired. Must possess a working knowledge and understanding of compliance issues and be familiar with basic laws governing compliance.  Should be a self-starter, possess good analytical skills, good practical judgment, interpersonal skills and the ability to complete multiple jobs and to meet deadlines.  The ability to maintain confidentiality and excellent interpersonal skills is required.
