That’s why we’re now looking for a new Test & Environments Manager who will help us maintain optimum service levels so that we’re always giving customers the best possible user experience.

The role

There’s never been a better time for IT leaders to join Clarks. We’re putting so much into transforming the digital side of our business. Which means, this is your chance to determine the direction and the nature of change—making sure our technological advancements are both sustainable and deliver the best customer experience.

An influencer here, you’ll shape the way the department works, acting as a conduit between the IT department and the wider business. You’ll interpret business requirements and then motivate and develop a team of technical specialists to deliver them. It’ll also be up to you to establish the IT service levels that the team works to. For our stakeholders, you’ll be one of the go-to faces of IT and an architect of business change.

You’ll also be heavily engaged with the technical side of service delivery, spotting data deviations that might affect service levels and looking into the causes. It’ll inform your decision-making so that application changes can be properly planned and made with minimal risk. When problems occur, you’ll be on hand with a solution.

A bit about you

You’ll have credibility that your teams can really get behind—and your experience speaks for itself. You’ll have significant background as a Test Manager at similarly complex organisations, where you’ll have been responsible for all aspects of end-to-end testing. When it comes to delivering resilient technology on a global scale, you’ll always look to incorporate the latest the industry has to offer. It’ll make for a fresh and inspiring strategy that your teams will be fully committed to actioning.

You’ll make the complexities of Test Phases, System Testing and System Integration Testing Documents easy to understand for audiences varying from technical teams or senior stakeholders. It’s that same communicative ability you’ll use when you’re building relationships or, indeed, resolving conflicts. That’s why you won’t just be a good fit for our collaborative culture—you’ll be a driving force of it.
