Job Description

As a territory sales representative for Puget Sound, Washington, you'll have the opportunity to work from your home office, traveling to independent agencies to assist with building and strengthening their book of Progressive business.  Ideal candidates will make use of their strong interpersonal skills while influencing agencies within their territory to market Progressive services and products, while also providing marketing strategies.  Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to prospect for new agencies in the territory.  We’ll help you in reaching these goals by providing a company vehicle, phone, laptop, and company card.   

Territory:  Kirkland, Redmond, Bellevue, Woodinville, Bothell, Issaquah, Kent, Auburn, and surrounding communities in Washington and Alaska. Overnight travel is required to Alaska. 

Preferred home office location: Eastside along the I -405 corridor and surrounding communities.

Must-have qualifications 

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field of study (Marketing, Business Management) and three years of outside business to business sales experience 

Instead of a degree, five years of outside business to business sales experience or five years of experience in the property and casualty field 

Compliance with Progressive’s driving standards and/or policy 

Valid driver’s license and auto insurance

Preferred skills 

Demonstrated outside business to business sales experience

Ability to work independently 

Ability to use formal and informal networks to accomplish goals 

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 

Compensation 

Salary range: $87,000 - $107,000/year

Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
