Job Description
As a Territory Sales Manager, you’ll act as the face of Mars Wrigley on the ground and directly in-store with our customers. Daily, you’ll be building important relationships with key, strategic customers to help Mars Wrigley grow, and hit KPI’s that lead to millions of people enjoying our products every day. You’ll be working with your favorite brands including M&M’S®, SNICKERS®, ORBIT®, EXTRA® and Skittles®.
Not only will you hold the relationship with our customers on the ground, but you’ll also be given the flexibility and responsibility to work without direct supervision, through integrity and trust, you’ll lead your territory to excellent growth and performance.
What are we looking for?
- If the idea of being stuck in an office 9-5 scares you, then this role is a great fit, if you’re able to walk significant amounts, bend to lift around 40lbs, and can do that all day with a smile on your face, we would love to hear from you!
- You’ll be happy to work individually, but ready to engage positively with our customers, every day with enthusiasm.
- You’ll be willing to assume a busy travel schedule, ready and willing to see the sights within your territory (which sometimes means paid overnight stays, too).
- If you’ve got a bachelor’s degree, experience in field sales, and prior experience within Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) with Walmart channels, then that’s a bonus – but not required.
- Lastly, you’ll be passionate about our brands, and understand the power they have to create better moments for millions.
What would be your key responsibilities?
- You’ll use the wealth of information Mars provides you to sell the customer against their strategic focus – always ready to help them build their business with mutuality in mind.
- You’ll build custom advanced selling tools that help drive orders, whilst still having a mind toward sustainable results that also work in the long-term.
- It’s not just products, you’ll also work with customers to sell products, display, and delivery of our brands, to help maximize their own sales, and provide a best-in-class customer experience.
- Work alongside third parties who will help you go the extra mile with your customers through activities like seasonal merchandising.
- You’ll act strategically helping analyse your sales results and delivering insights to the rest of Mars which help us deliver greater growth overall.
- You’ll showcase your passion for Mars Wrigley both internally on training and conference calls, as well as in-store with your customers, leaving them with a positive view of Mars, which aligns with our iconic brands.
