Work you’ll do 

• The Telecom Engineer will bring technical expertise and industry experience in Advanced Telecommunications networks, equipment and services.
• The candidate shall apply the industry knowledge and technical expertise to evaluate proposed telecom infrastructure build plans to determine feasibility and viability.
• The candidate may also lead evaluation of various alternatives including broadband technologies, deployment options, costs, etc. to build regional and local broadband deployment plans.
• The candidate shall have experience in the operations, equipment and servicing costs, maintenance, grooming, optimization and upgrade of such networks.
• Familiarity and experience maintaining, servicing and replacement of core and non-core components of such systems is also preferred.
• Familiarity with environment and historic preservation regulatory compliance will be preferred.
• Familiarity with government grant programs will be preferred.

The Systems Engineering offering is comprised of experienced professionals who help guide clients through their most complex technology challenges. This can include the delivery of large scale software applications & integrated systems, the development of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integrations solutions, and the delivery of technology enablement to support CIO services transformation. Our Systems Engineering offering focuses on key client issues that impact the core business, provide operational value, drive down the cost of quality, and enhance technology innovation.

Qualifications 

Required: 

• Bachelor degree in Information Technology related field of study with a telecommunication focus
• 2+ years of experience as a Telecommunication Engineer
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
• Travel up to 50% (While 50% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
