About the Role:
A Telecom Expense Analyst supports inventory validation and change control, sourcing, service ordering and delivery, invoice processing, and reporting and analysis activities within the organization. They will also work closely with procurement for wireless device ordering and finance for invoice processing. This job is necessary to ensure standard telecom expense management processes are followed.
 
How you will make an impact:

• Develop and implement the strategy, objectives, processes, policies and procedures as it relates to a full scale enterprise telecom expense management operation. Management operations to include full life cycle services, including but not limited to procurement, inventory maintenance, appropriate analysis and allocation, and acquisition and divestiture activities of telecom services within Wiley.
• Drives impact to the business bottom line through process improvement and cost optimization.
• Along with VMO Manages TEM Supplier relationships
• Identifies contract to service compliance issues and appropriate courses of action.
• Is involved in vendor selections and setting performance expectations as well as how that performance will be measured
• Understanding the different requirements of different departments from a measurement and reporting standpoint. Then delivering those reports and able to speak to results good or bad.
• Involved in establishment and maintenance of policy and procedure guidelines.
• Can and should be involved in the performance measurement of procedures having to do with carrier services inventory, procurement, dispute resolution, contract compliance, invoicing.
• Understands how to set, plan, and accomplish goals.
• Understands business analytics and performance reporting. Able to create and manage reports both cost related and performance related. Multiple types of break outs from costs, type, locations, users, usage, budget, customer care, etc
• Understands how to align the TEM or WMM tools with both people and processes internal to the business.
• Comfortable with policy and procedural guidelines
• Demonstrate the ability to lead and mentor by determining the strengths and weaknesses in each individual and coach to their needs.
• Clear ability to drive innovation and change
• Ability to communicate with end-users and contacts in order to build rapport and allowing them to understand the critical role they play in the process.
• Ability to report operational costs and statistics to aid Business Units in optimizing budgets and customer care

 
What we look for:

• At least 5 years of experience in the TEM space or in a related area.
• Familiar with TEM concepts, practices, and procedures, implementation, contracts, SLA’s, remedies, etc.
• Ability to communicate with end-users and contacts in order to build rapport and allowing them to understand the critical role they play in the process.
• Ability to report operational costs and statistics to aid Business Units in optimizing budgets and customer.
• Experience managing telecom expenses of at least 10M annually.
• Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Excellent problem solving, team and time management skills managing multiple deadlines for self and others.
