About The Job
As a Technology Team Lead – Customer Master Data, your role will see you tackling multiple challenges, working closely with the Product Owner and a varied set of stakeholders.
- To effectively lead and support a team of SRE´s, Cloud Engineers, Data Analysts, and other technology professionals, you need to be aware of a range of technologies and able to deeply understand the architecture and design of digital systems.
- One of the key responsibilities in your role, is to ensure that the people you support are growing within their area of expertise, acquiring new skills, doing valuable teamwork, feeling engaged and supported.
- You will act as a servant leader and enabler for your team, helping to develop and maintain delivery plans, timescales, resource requirements, key milestones, risks and progress. You will take responsibility for the further development of agility within your area and domain. You will focus on supporting your team to self-organize and increase its capabilities and autonomy. You will identify, de-escalate and resolve conflicts within and between teams.
- In collaboration with the Head of Technology, you will plan and manage costs and pro-actively look for efficiencies. You will motivate your team to implement the best Master Data & Permission Management solution for TUI in place. Therefore, you and your team will support the TRIPS program in different areas and in strong alignment with our business stakeholders. You will ensure that our legacy systems in all Source Markets are E2E supported and develop an efficient and lean decommissioning roadmap.
- You will focus on creating a culture of technical excellence, innovation and continuous improvement. Therefore, you will be responsible (depending on market jurisdiction rules) for the identification and recruitment of new talent into your team, coaching existing and new team members and supporting their career development.
About You
- Passionate about customer data, inspired by an agile mind set, combined with a deep knowledge regarding Customer Master Data Management and Customer Permission Management, focused on delivering business value and driving continuous improvement.
- Proven track record in delivering projects in time and budget, while dealing with several stakeholders in different hierarchy levels.
- Data driven person who can handle complex international use cases with strong dependency to our new business model and technology landscape.
- Strong communication skills and experience to handle international teams in a virtual environment.
- Mastery of moderation, presentation, visualization techniques and feedback methods with good influencing skills and the ability to communicate to a wide range of staff, including near shore/off shore colleagues and external partners.
- Experience in leading and coaching as a true believer that autonomy, empowerment, and accountability should be in the teams.
