Job Description

As part of our team of presales Technology Specialists, you will work for commercial and public sector customers and educate business decision makers and IT professionals that Microsoft 365 is the most modern and secure platform to invest in their future IT strategy and hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

As our Technical Specialist, you work within a virtual team of technical, partner and consulting resources to help educate your customers at a technical level. You will demonstrate and prove our solutions, and win the technical decision allowing the team to achieve and exceed quarterly Microsoft 365 suite, Teams, Surface, and OEM Meeting/Calling devices sales/usage targets in your accounts. You will also:

  Scale Customer Engagements

  • Use knowledge of customer context and solution or portfolio expertise to build credibility with customers.
  • Ensure technical wins for core technologies by independently driving technical discussions with customers. Improves customer interactions through feedback and observation.

Scale Through Partners

  • Engage in partner sell-with scenarios by collaborating with partners to carry out technical engagement activities and acting as a source of trusted partner knowledge.
  • Support partner technical capacity by identifying resources to scale and aligning with Microsoft training offerings.

Build Strategy

  • Share competitive insights from customer sessions with colleagues and escalates competitive situations to influence compete strategies.
  • Provide strategic, technical input based on Microsoft capability at the account level to contribute to strategy development.

Solution Design and Proof

  • Demonstrate and oversee demonstrations (e.g., architectural design sessions, proof of concept [POC] sessions) of solutions based on specific Microsoft products through initial engagements. Leverages partner/customer teams as needed to prove product capabilities and integration into customer environment.
  • Presents and applies reference architectures to partners or customers for their technology sets.

Education

  • Consume and leverage readiness materials to expand domain knowledge and practices expertise by communicating with customers, partners, and senior colleagues to expand knowledge of architecture.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a technical pre-sales role or IT Administration role focused on Modern Work Solutions deployment (MS Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint etc.).
  • Proven track record of building relationships with senior IT and business decision makers.
  • Ability to explain complex topics in ways that can be understood by technical and business decision makers.
  • Demonstrated value Selling Mindset.
  • Ability to communicate with a variety of different audiences and strong presentation skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English

Compensation starting at c50,000Eur depending on experience
