Job Description
The Quality Review (QR) Assessor is a newly created role within Citi’s Operations and Technology Transformation Office (OTTO) function. OTTO QR team reviews all Technology Consent Order RBCM Deliverable artifacts for all technology sectors. This role is responsible for conducting quality reviews of technology artifacts against milestones throughout the SDLC lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Quality Review
- Conduct quality reviews on technology documents to identify issues or gaps based on agreed deliverables and ensure consistent and clear processes, monitoring, reporting and escalation.
- Review the identified issues, gain agreement on planned actions and provide strategic remediation paths for key issues.
- Provide review on the design and operating effectiveness of an artifact understanding the requirements at a global or regional level.
- Implement escalation criteria and practices to ensure issues and risks are escalated timely and reporting to senior management occurs appropriately, consistently and at the right levels.
- Ensure QR meets/exceeds expectations, and support and drive the Transformation Program and IA’s and management’s efforts
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in a related role within technology, technology risk, technology audit, or quality assurance.
- Technology discipline in SDLC, Cloud, Architecture, and other areas.
- Experience in risk and control, supervision, quality assurance / control and monitoring processes.
- Subject matter expertise regarding risk and control disciplines within Operations and Technology processes.
- Ability to collaborate across non-reporting functions.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment.
- Experience working in Data (governance, risk and controls, or compliance) and/or Finance (transformation) is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Related certifications (CISA, CRISC, PMP or similar) preferred.
- Experience in risk and control (including regulatory) remediation activities.
- Broad understanding of relevant banking regulation and supervisory expectations for large complex financial institutions.
- Effective communication skills, and in particular ability to assess and contribute to the content of key risk and control reporting.
- Knowledge of Citi project management, policies, and procedures preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred
