Job Description

The Technology Project Manager will work under the general direction of the Director of Franchise Technology. This role will be part of the Technology team providing implementations, analysis, support, maintenance, and training of new and existing enterprise applications of the Franchising Group. The role will be required to manage and timely complete IT projects and diagnose issues that arise in supporting the enterprise applications. The Technology Project Manager will provide insight as to root cause analysis of any encountered issues. 

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: 

• Maintain and support work order management, financial and other applications.
• Troubleshoot application problems associated with work order management, financial and other applications.
• Perform analysis, design, documentation and testing of bugs and enhancements associated with new or existing application functionality.
• Develop business processes and update COMs as necessary.
• Ensure projects comply with best practices regarding SOP and other policies
• Outlining, defining, and initiating any project that is assigned.
• Monitoring assigned projects progress and implementing changes where necessary.
• Write and perform training related to applications and business processes.
• Manage relationships and activities between Franchising Group and applications software and IT service providers as assigned.
• Provide accurate estimates and timely updates for IT projects.
• Coordinate production releases and rollouts, delegating tasks to the necessary employees and presenting on projects\' progress and results within the Franchising Group.
• Developing new network troubleshooting strategies to help reduce downtime and decrease maintenance costs.
• Creating rational strategies for upgrading the company’s network software whenever a new update is available.
• Constructing and implementing plans to ensure the company’s network continues to operate smoothly in the event of a problem.
• Working closely with other department heads to assess the growth needs and maintenance of the company’s network.
• Other duties as assigned.
   

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor\'s Degree required in one or more of the following:  Business Administration/Operations, Computer Science, Information Systems
• 5 years of Project Management experience
• PMP Certification strongly preferred
