Vodafone global Privacy Program:
Working to protect the privacy of more than 500 million Vodafone customers and 150,000 employees, Vodafone Group Privacy team, a function under Vodafone Group Legal, oversees Vodafone’s global Privacy Programme and ensures its implementation within Vodafone Group
Role objective:
Driving adoption of global Privacy Program components within key strategic initiatives of Group Technology.
Responsibilities:
To achieve the role objectives and fundamentally contribute to the Vodafone global Privacy Program you will be responsible for the next activities:
- Collaborate with Privacy SPOCs and Privacy Champions to gather understanding of Group Technology Business Units compliance with core privacy controls
- Identify privacy control gaps and propose ideas for improvement to Privacy SPOCs and Group Privacy looking at technical solutions for de-identification, data purging automation etc
- Support Group Privacy in rolling out key control improvement initiatives (e.g. PDPR, VAI)
- Support Group Privacy in periodic compliance monitoring, reporting and quality assurance activities
- Enable best practices relating to data protection and classification
- Provides Group Privacy with periodic reports on Privacy Programme compliance status against key controls in Group Technology
- Facilitates ongoing engagement between senior stakeholders in Group Technology and Group Privacy

You will have:
- Extensive knowledge of Data Protection standards and mechanisms, Privacy Governance, Privacy Architecture and Data Lifecycle
- Broad-based knowledge of multiple domains IT, Network, Data and Infrastructure
- Experience in implementing compliance controls into IT and Technology functions
- Demonstrates strong organizational; project management; analytical, problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to interact with different stakeholders
- Academic Degree qualified
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Preferred certification in Data Privacy management
- Strong analytical approach to problem solving and solution development
