Job Description

primary Function

Business:

  • Accomplish the objectives in terms of volumes, profitability and working capital for the line products, innovation promise, growth platforms and specialties ingredients in the Processed Food Segment, according to the company’s business program.

  • Improve customer value perception by delivering our value propositions.

  • Accomplish activities to consolidate progress towards world class safety performance, embedding a strong safety culture across our company.

  • Represent the company with suppliers, customers, government agencies or any entity with which the company maintains commercial relations commercial, corporate or public type.

Agility and Innovation:

  • Use product knowledge to deliver new ingredient solutions for customers, growing through results-focused in growth platforms, innovation promise and specialties portfolio, according to corporate objectives and strategies.

  • Provide technical support required by customers concerning uses and applications of company’s ingredient portfolio. (Dairy, Meat and Savory)

  • Protect and growth our share of market by constantly monitor the market trends, customer needs, regulatory issues, competition, distributor channels or any kind of movements that could affect the business to take agile and appropriate actions.

  • Use of technological tools that allow reaching high level of effectiveness, improving customer service and increase value added perception on our markets, such as: sales excellence project, salesforce.com, sales process, etc.

Relationships and people:

  • Built trusted and collaborative partnership and relationship with key decision makers in customers and internally.

  • Permanent contact with technical areas of Ingredion such as: IADC, IATC, Bridgewater, etc. to speed up the execution of innovation projects.

  • Generate cooperative relationships with universities and technical institutions for development of applied investigation

Knowledge & Technical Skills:

  • Solid experience in similar job positions

  • Chemical or Food Engineering is desirable

  • Experience in consultative selling

  • Understanding of marketing concepts and communications tools and their effective uses.

  • Knowledge of industrial markets in the Processed Food Sector is desirable

  • Extensive knowledge on ingredient solutions derived from corn, cassava, Stevia and others, besides of applications in food such as: dairy & ice cream, dressings, processed meat, confectionery, beverages, bakery and other applications on food is desirable

  • Fluency in English

  • Desirable fluency in Portuguese

  • Excellent relationship at all levels and teamwork abilities;

  • Work under pressure;

  • Ability to face big challenges.

  • Availability for traveling into and out of country and stay out for periods
