AWS Global Infrastructure is looking for an experienced technical program manager (TPM) who is a passionate advocate of enterprise data security and asset security. Our team works with key stakeholders across AWS Infrastructure to design and build operational processes, tools and documentation to protect customer data and intellectual property in AWS data centers worldwide.
The ideal candidate is customer obsessed, innovative, independent and results-oriented. As a Technical Program Manager you will:
· Work with key stakeholders across multiple organizations to define strategy and requirements to protect customer data and intellectual property in AWS data centers
· Be responsible for scoping and delivering end-to-end software solutions that span multiple technology teams
· Innovate features on behalf of our customers
· Collaborate with software development teams, hardware development teams, and global process owners to architect and deliver technical solutions
· Own project roadmaps and lead implementation efforts
· Build process flows with stakeholders that seeks balance between enhancing security and enabling the operational teams to be effective in the day to day data center management
Your job requires a high degree of judgement, the ability to negotiate and influence delivery across teams, and excellent communication skills.

· 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: process development or improvement, data center or network infrastructure program/project management, data center or network operations, or related experience.
· 5+ years of program management experience partnering with indirect teams, across geographically dispersed or ad-hoc teams.
· 7+ years of industry experience, strong technical project management skills e.g. project definition, requirement definition, project plan creation and execution, risk management, measurement of success
· Knowledge of Data Center Facilities Infrastructure (Rack level hardware)
· Working knowledge of enterprise ticketing system
· Project management, organization and problem solving skills with a drive for results and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
· Process development and improvement skills.
· Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
