Job summary
As a Technical Program Manager you will join a team committed to delivering the best experience for our neighbours through the application of computer vision, machine learning and image/video processing technologies. Our goal is to create devices that bring life to Ring's vision through smart features that provide the most relevant notifications, highest quality recordings and the most frustration-free ownership from setup to configuration and daily use.
Key job responsibilities
• Deliver on complex initiatives managing short and long-term needs for products
• Work with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements
• Coordinate and track progress of ISP tuning, in-house and on vendors’ premises
• Coordinate implementation and execution of Image Quality assessment
• Coordinate new HW components evaluation
• Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels
• Work with product management to agree on production schedules
• Create, maintain and disseminate program status information to stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvements
A day in the life
Ring is looking for a Technical Program Manager who will focus on Image Quality (IQ) related initiatives for existing and new camera products. You will be a part of our global IQ team playing a critical role in ensuring the highest imaging standards and driving continuous improvement for the products. You will work closely with Vendors and Firmware teams to coordinate and facilitate the execution of the company’s complex business needs. You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within a fast-paced environment.

• Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
• Evidence of repeated, consistent delivery through the management of complex programs
• Experience in working on SW and IQ tuning for camera
• Experience in managing multiple internal and external (vendors) teams
• Proven ability to deliver in a changing environment
• Demonstrated ability to sort through many competing priorities and define processes that improve execution
• Ability to drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple group
• Experienced in gathering requirements and providing specifications
• Experience in managing IP camera/video related projects will be a plus.
• Familiarity with types of IQ metrics (sharpness, color accuracy, dynamic range, etc)
• Familiarity with Camera SW algorithms (Auto Exposure, Auto White Balance, etc)
• Experience in managing camera hardware development and characterization
• Experience with leading IQ SW and QA automation development
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills
