- Certificate or Diploma in Computer Hardware/Networking/ITÂ
- Apprentice as a technical support officer in IT industry
Responsibilities
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, printers, operating systems and applications
- Excellent communication skills
- Assisting the customers either via phone or visiting to set up systems or resolve issues related to computer hardware
- Should be a quick learner with positive attitude
- Troubleshoot system and network problems
- Diagnose and resolve hardware or software defects
- Support the roll-out of new applications and respond within the agreed time limits to call-outsÂ
- Complete the assigned task before leaving the customer site or refer to another technical support officer if the task cannot be completed of own.
