Responsibilities:
- Works to gather partner, product/engineering teams, sales, and customer inputs to understand solution/workload level needs to develop technical marketing plans and strategy around Edge/Telco related solutions and technologies.
- Drives solution planning, and defines relevant use cases where we can showcase various data points that highlight the value prop we are aiming to convey.
- Acts as subject matter expert to identify key technical concepts to communicate and works with outbound marketing to determine the best way to package the technical information to a technical-savvy internal/external audience.
- Develops compelling technical arguments and proof points for customers to consider engaging Dell in addressing their server needs for Edge/Telco environments.
- Applies deep technical expertise and extensive industry experience to formulate and develop technical content including, proof of concepts, third- party analyst benchmarks and other testing efforts, videos, solution briefs, technical blogs, sales training material, and whitepapers.
- Recognizes and understands customer pain points and tailors technical content to meet those requirements.
- Responsible for supporting new product technology intersection points as well as on-going strategic focus areas around emerging workloads/environments (i.e. Edge/Telco)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills: the ability to speak knowledgeably, clearly and across all levels of leadership
- Experience in developing application/workload use case
- Demonstrated ability to create compelling yet simple messaging from complicated technical concepts
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence across multiple functions and teams within the company
Essential Requirements/Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant Server/PowerEdge solution experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Undergraduate degree and 8+ years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 8+ years relevant experience
Good understanding of the telecommunications segment and related solutions
Strong knowledge of IT industry, future technology trends, and direction
Excellent written and oral communication skills are required
Prior technical marketing experience, engineering background, sales engineering, or solutions architect is preferred
