The Technical Lead will be responsible for building "front-end" applications—a role crucial for the success of the business. In this role, the successful candidate will need to have familiarity with React, Next.js, or similar front-end technology. We are a team that values strong problem-solving skills and collaboration. This position will report directly to the Director of Product Development.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Custom programming and web application development, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting 
• Contributing ideas toward internal projects and working as part of a team to find solutions to various problems 
• Improving processes and support methodologies by assessing needs and requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline 
• 6+ years of relevant work experience

MANDATORY SKILLS

• Good experience in using React, Next.js, similar front-end technology such as Vue.js, etc. 
• Strong skills in using Javascript and Typescript 
• Ability to communicate thoughts or ideas to the designers and other developers

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience integrating open source and third-party applications into existing systems 
• Results-oriented, reliable, team player, and able to work under pressure 
• Eager to embrace current and emerging web technologies 
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 
• In-depth understanding of the HTTP, browser/JS engine architecture 
• RESTful API Integration experience and backend knowledge 
• Experience in agile development methodology
• Experience in relational and NoSQL databases, Linux, containers/virtual machines, Docker, Kuberntes
• Experience in back-end as well as in at least one programming language 
• A technical mindset with great attention to detail 
• Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment 
• Ability to develop new approaches to complex design problems

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Fluency in English-strong written and verbal skills
