Summary

This role will work directly with Accounts Payable & Procurement Operations leaders in developing a strong governance mechanism to track & report on progress on Process KPIs and Key Projects. This roles will also facilitate in developing a sustainable & self-servicing reporting model for key metrics related to Procure to Pay. The role will encompass mapping of end to end processes and recommend improvement opportunities to transform the processes. The role will also require to develop presentations for senior leaders and deliver in various forums. Ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously with limited supervision will be expected. The role is a mix of project management, data analytics/reporting and governance.

Major Duties

  • Perform data analysis to measure and report on KPI for AP & Procurement operations
  • Develop comprehensive presentations, dashboards and metrics for the Procurement and Accounts Payable Operations
  • Create direct channels of communication to engage partnering teams, that get the job done without managerial interjection
  • Identify business trends using real data, compile analysis reports that are delivered to developers and then follow-up on all results
  • Implement a comprehensive management plan for each project and hold regular stakeholder meetings to keep all interested parties updated in project progress
  • Determine and document user requirements for business processes and abide by those requirements for future projects
  • Obtain, analyse and summarize market intelligence for the region
  • Responsible for the delivery & management of monthly management reporting requirements
  • Business Strategy and Growth
    • Partner with the management team to develop priorities to enable delivery of the overall strategy for the business
    • Drive change through prioritization and alignment of resources
    • Own and ensure delivery of initiatives within the team
    • Work to teams to business priorities
  • Business Performance and Planning
    • Input into the annual business budget process including resource budgeting and allocations to achieve business priorities
    • Participate in and track initiatives across the business to achieve targets
    • Develop ad-hoc analytics to help the business better understand and manage its costs, risks, capital usage, pricing, growth opportunities, etc.
  • Regulation, Risk and Controls
    • Work to understand the impact of new regulations on the business and how that may impact the business
    • Respond to requests from Regulators as required.
  • Ad Hoc/General Business Management Support.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
  • Advanced database management and maintenance skills
  • Practical application ability with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI) and Visio
  • Detailed analytical abilities
  • Must have good presentation skills
  • Strong experience in project management and problem solving skills

Experience

A College or University degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or Finance and relevant work experience of at least 5+ years and strong leadership in Analytics is required.
