Briggs & Stratton, LLC, Wauwatosa, WI, is seeking a Technical Analyst Senior SAP - Interface. Partners with business liaisons to translate hardware and software requirements into technical specifications and partners with software developers, network engineers and IT Testing Analysts to develop logical technical processes and technical solutions for SAP systems and applications. Identifies, creates and facilitates technical and process design changes by conducting business and systems analysis and design at a complex level in SAP; focusing on quality improvement; system availability, security, data reliability; re-engineering processes and recommending elimination; integrating new systems and processes and partnering with business to ensure solutions provided meet long-term business strategies. Creates technical specifications and processes using structured analysis and data and technology modeling techniques (e.g. activity diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams). Gather and define functional, usability, reliability, and performance requirements in partnership with users for the implementation and enhancement of software or hardware systems. Builds and leverages automation to decrease overall system deployment and support cycle time. Participates in system and user acceptance testing efforts. Documents resolutions, test plans, recommended courses of action, and follow through on project requirements, designs and enhancements. Identify long and short term opportunities and recommend solutions for improving the overall system health by assessing overall effectiveness and efficiency. Builds standards, processes and procedures, and guidelines for business liaisons, software developers and network engineering teams. Leads business liaisons in the evaluation of cost-benefit and ROI analyses, and budget planning. Understands system interdependencies and collaborate with project teams accordingly.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, plus 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience, which must include: 7 years of experience in SAP; 3 years of experience in SAP Process Integration (PI) / Process Orchestration (PO) 7.5 including Mapping Development, Business System Config, SLD Configuration, Communication Channel Configuration, ICO and iFlow Development, PI / PO Performance tuning & Stress Testing; 5 years of hands on experience in developing backend ABAP coding for SAP interfaces; 3 years of experience in Interfacing with various trading partners like Banks, Vendors, Customers, Legal and regulatory authorities, EDI managed services such as Opentext; 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP/4, ABAP on HANA Custom Development, Remote Function Modules, Proxy Development, EDI Configuration, ALE setup, webdynpro; 3 years of experience in SAP PO / PI; 5 years of experience with SAP ERP ECC 6.0 or higher; 4 years of experience in driving end to end interface discussions with Business and SAP Functional teams through requirement gathering, detailed design, development, testing and code promotion phases; 4 years of experience with 3rd Party Interfaces, Customer Portals, EDI Managed Services; 4 years of experience in integration models including A2A, B2B and B2C using Service Oriented Architecture principles; 3 years of experience in developing and implementing realtime and batch interfaces between SAP to SAP and Non-SAP to SAP applications using SAP PI / PO; 3 years of experience in developing and implementing interfaces between cloud and on-premise applications using SAP PI / PO; 3 years of experience integrating Front End Portals, SRM, CRM, Salesforce, Customer shopping carts, Manufacturing applications and other Non-SAP Applications utilizing principles of Enterprise Service Layer Architecture; 3 years of experience in Interfacing techniques like iDoc, SOAP, Proxy, REST, AS2, JDBC, RFC, HTTP, EDI, FILE, SFTP including content conversion; 3 years of SAP interfacing experience with ERP Content Management applications including Onbase, SAP DMS, Tax Management solution including Vertex, Credit Card Solutions including CyberSource, Delego; 3 years of experience in designing and implementing Network File Storage (NFS) solutions, User setup and Permissions between various applications to enable file transfers; 3 years of experience on Problem / Incident and Change Management using ITIL tool such as ServiceNow ITSM; 2 years of experience working with Infrastructure teams to discuss requirements and troubleshoot issues with SAP Web Dispatcher, Network Firewall; 1 year of experience with SAP Solution Manager 7.2; 1 year of end to end SAP HANA implementation experience; 1 year of Data Center migration experience.
