About the role
This is a rare opportunity for you to join one of the most attractive employers and to lead the technology delivery for two strategic transformation programmes; the growth of our global wholesale operation and a new roadmap for managing the end to end stock journeys from factory to customer. What you’ll be doing:
Accountable for prioritisation, planning and delivery of all activity across many technology teams in support of the wholesale and stock movement programmes.
Contribute to, agree and continuously review overall programme plans, scope and roadmaps with senior stakeholders and make sure they meet business objectives, maximising the benefits for ASOS.
Drive the identification of features and functional enhancements across the platforms to meet the programme objectives.
Work closely with other leaders across the Technology teams to determine the prioritisation of deliverables in platform backlogs to meet programme objectives and timelines.
Own the resolution of programme level issues and the mitigation of risks.
Assist with management of 3rd party suppliers to drive cost effective engagement and delivery.
Ensure all aspects of the platform are addressed; including scalability, security, maintainable and supportability
Who we’d like to meet:
You are a credible influencer with a strong 10+ year background in delivery/Programme Management within large international retail environments.
Experience working in a Buying & Merchandising / Supply Chain environment
An understanding of international retail Supply Chains
Confidence in developing strong and influential relationships with stakeholders at all levels in the organisation
Experience in managing programmes comprising many business functions and technology teams
Able to help stakeholders engage with complex ideas and solutions
Experience leading both internal and external development teams.
Experience managing international programmes
Strong financial/budget management experience
