As a Launch Engineer, you will be working on challenging problems that need creative solutions. You should be comfortable building process, challenging assumptions, and thinking of creative ways to tackle challenges.

Everyone on the team needs to be entrepreneurial, wear many hats and cooperate in a highly collaborative environment that’s more start-up than big company.
We take on problems spanning various domains, including Network Engineering, Hardware Design, Process Optimisation, Process Documentation and work standardisation.

The Tech Launch Engineer will leverage their leadership and technical capabilities to lead technical installations, identify and manage risks, resolve issues and escalate where appropriate to drive to successful completion.

Through engagement with various internal teams, external vendors, and key suppliers, you will deliver technology on time. You will play an active role in implementing business and functional deliverables in partnership with other technology leaders within the team.

You will help solve a variety of technical challenges and mentor other engineers. You will work with you peers to consistently raise the bar by reducing cost, complexity, and ambiguity.
Additionally, you will play an active role in defining the installation processes for our technologies in partnership with other technical teams within the organisation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or relevant major and/or relevant industry experience
· Willingness and ability to travel 50% of the year domestically
· Ability and willingness to multi-task and learn new technologies quickly
· Experience in first line troubleshooting software systems
· Experience with one or more of the following:
· Networking (Cumulus, Juniper, or Cisco)
· Structured cabling / low voltage cabling, power infrastructure.
· Infrastructure systems (DHCP, DNS, RADIUS)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Excellent written communication skills
· Experience creating technical documentation or standard operating procedures for deployment, troubleshooting, or repair of IT equipment
