Position Description


This position is required to provide application development support for the PLM application globally. The job functions will include:

  • Defining custom solutions to address customer requirements and business process improvement opportunities using Teamcenter UA.

  • Work with customers to understand their requirements and create solution proposal and specification documentation.

  • Write/implement code for Client, Server and Web applications (AWC) as required.

  • Coordinate support activities and identify solutions for complex issues.

  • Configuring items, datasets, naming rules, lists of values, etc. using BMIDE.

  • Develop and maintain Teamcenter workflows collaboratively with the business including overall design, including workflow handlers.

  • Establish and maintain classification schema based on input from business users.

  • Troubleshooting the Teamcenter integrations with various CAD systems (Pro/E, SolidWorks, etc.)

  • Importing of legacy data from various sources into Teamcenter.

  • Assist with the planning, testing, and deployment of system updates and upgrades collaborating with various business functions to coordinate outages as necessary.

  • Perform root cause analysis debugging problems with Teamcenter and then developing, testing, and implementing fixes to prevent recurrence.

  • Document all aspects of the system such that knowledge is readily shared amongst all those tasked with supporting Teamcenter.

  • Develop training, coach, and mentor users aimed at improving their overall efficiency and usage of the system.

  6. Performs other duties as assigned

Education


Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering or Related field

Experience Requirements


  • Ten years of experience in an engineering role
  • Recognized as an expert in a particular field of specialization, or have extensive knowledge of all design and development aspects for a particular Briggs & Stratton product or manufacturing process such as internal combustion engines
