In addition to standard engineering duties the Team Leader will be responsible for the technical performance of the team and maintaining ENGIE and NHS standards within the SWBH contract.
Responsible for the day-to-day organisation of the engineering team to meet the contractual agreement
Maintain records appertaining to the PPM schedule.
Directly manage the team. Monitor and control time keeping, sickness and absence, staff effectiveness, staff conduct/discipline, and appearance. Engage in formal counselling, grievance procedures and return to work interviews as and when required.
Responsible for the periodic testing and remedial repairs of critical plant and equipment within your area of responsibility, for example: generators, fire alarms and emergency lighting
Issue Permits to Work within your area of responsibility / maintain routine documentation / manage statutory testing by utilising in-house or contract staff, ensuring that records are available to comply with Statutory legislation

Completion of a recognised Engineering Industry Training Board (EITB)/ Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) apprenticeship or other approved training
Previous experience of working in a similar hospital/healthcare environment
Knowledge of Health & Safety and an awareness of risk assessment and working safely with equipment
Previous FM experience within a PFI environment would be an advantage
