Position Responsibilities 

• Demonstrate competencies in areas of general controls, project management, critical thinking, problem solving, relationship building and teamwork.  

• Identify process and organizational risks and recommend appropriate controls using inquiry, observations, complex data analytics and re-performance. 

• Work independently and lead multiple complex control reviews. 

• Lead all phases of audit engagements through creation of scope, timeline, communications, allocation of responsibilities and reporting and mitigation of issues. 

• Assist team members in preparing supporting documentation (workpapers, noted observations, recommendations and management action plans) for review by department leadership. 

• Prepare and provide communications to all areas of the business.  Assist team members in developing effective communication. 

• Develop current and new team members by training, mentoring and leading. 

• Participate in and lead continuous learning to include training on department, company and industry knowledge, technical skills, diversity and inclusion, communication and teamwork. 

• Lead department initiatives to improve internal processes and ensure professional standards are maintained. 

• Advise partners on security and control standards. 

Position Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology or other similar fields is required 

• Minimum 5 year professional internal or external audit experience required 

• Advanced degree or certification preferred (CPA, CIA, CISA, CIPP, CISSP) 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting, audit and analytical tools  

• The ability to work as part of an agile, fast-paced and highly motivated team 

• Ability to travel 20% of the time
