Your field of responsibility
You will be responsible for:
- Lead the dedicated team with background in tax process automation and technology implementing and maintaining business critical solutions for tax reporting and forecasting
- Take ownership of improvement / change projects and BAU maintenance / configuration of the Group Tax accounting system (Longview)
- Find opportunities for streamlining the system and associated processes and drive required change by gathering user requirements / feedback and coordinating the change projects working with various collaborators including Finance, Tax, IT, Change and Longview developers
- Find opportunities working with Tax SMEs and drive enhancement / automation of BAU processes peripheral to Longview (e.g., automation via Alteryx, Tableau, Excel VBA, UiPath)
- Proactively identifying and resolving any errors in Longview by monitoring of control outputs / reports and project manage BAU book of work to fix any reported errors in Longview
- Continuous improvement of controls around Longview input, processing and output
- Understanding, documenting and articulating user business requirements in a language that can be understood by IT and Longview developers
- Train and develop the team by means of regular training sessions and up-to-date process and system change documentation

- Any tax or accounting software or database implementation experience (e.g., Corptax, Longview Tax, OneSource, Oracle Tax provision, Anaplan, CCH integrator, etc.)
- Proven experience driving cross functional projects and/or processes involving multiple jurisdictions
- Demonstrated experience and aptitude with learning and implementing software solutions (accounting, tax, ERP, etc.)
- Experience using a 3rd party data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Qlik, Excel VBA, etc.)
Desired skills/Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analysis or accounting related field (some tax or accounting exposure is a plus)
- Minimum of 7 years of work experience in a similar role preferably in a finance function (accounting or tax function is a plus)
- Experience of leading a team in multiple regions
- Proven experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and ideally using integration features with other financial applications (e.g., Oracle, PeopleSoft GL, JDE, QuickBooks, SAP, HFM, Essbase, Smart View etc.)
- Programming experience is a plus (VBA, SQL, Python, etc.)
- Result oriented, dedicated, individual with high level of integrity, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards
