We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our team as an Tax Accountant, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.
Role Purpose
To provide technical tax accounting oversight to UK private asset book, involving real estate, private debt and private equity asset classes. This will cover multiple fund ranges from ACS, PAIF’s, segregated mandates, insurance funds and Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) structures (both transparent and opaque).
To ensure tax accounting, including note discloses for each private asset fund type is complete, accurate and in line with the required General Accepted Accounting Practice (GAAP) (UK, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), SORP accounting etc.)
The job holder will be proactive in managing change, and working on standalone basis to investigate complex tax accounting standards cross domiciles. An excellent client facing approach is essential as this role will involve significant interaction and collaborative working with both the client’s tax and accounting teams and the client’s tax compliance advisors.
The job holder will also be involved in designing appropriate ops model and robust process to embed within structures / books as private asset funds onboard and play an oversight role once such funds are in Business As Usual (BAU).
