RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment
Manage end to end recruitment processes for all vacancies within remit area across our BMD and Customer teams
Adopt direct resourcing approach (ATS, Job Boards, LinkedIn, Social Media and Headhunting) towards recruitment process ensuring a cost effective and quality driven approach to candidate attraction.
Work with/manage relationships with recruitment agencies with regards to vacancies (briefing, feedback, offer process).
Manage and deliver resourcing projects in line with department plan.
Work as an ambassador for the New Look Recruitment process, ensuring positive candidate experience.
Partner with Line Managers to ensure recruitment processes are in place
Actively support hiring managers with interviewing and other selection
Facilitate assessment centres where appropriate.
Provide management information for recruitment metrics report (Weekly).
Create and drive pipeline activity across all areas.
Customer
Build strong relationships with hiring managers to ensure we are the first port of call.
Ensure all new starters are on board with New Look Induction
Maintain and develop strong relationships with desirable candidates during the recruitment process.
Seek out activities to drive self-development.
Remain confidential and professional at all times.
Growth
Seek out activities to drive self-development.
Network with industry professionals to develop professional circles and understand competitor/sector activity.
Use 1-2-1’s to monitor and drive performance.
Actively seek feedback from customers (hiring managers and candidates).
Support peers with project work where appropriate.
Essential Skills
Recruitment/resourcing experience, either in an in-house or recruitment agency environment, preferably within retail
Familiar with employment discrimination legislation
Will have managed a large portfolio of permanent and contract vacancies at any one time and demonstrated the ability to keep up to date with associated administrative tasks.
Be an effective communicator with excellent organisation skills and the confidence to prioritise workload when demands on time are being made by many managers at once.
Possess good influencing skills, with the ability to build rapport and persuade others
Ability to manage change and remain flexible to individual situations.
ABOUT YOU
Experienced in advertising positions on job boards, have drafted recruitment advertising, searched cv databases and cold called candidates
Experienced in screening and short-listing candidates
Experience of recruitment management systems / e-recruitment solutions and have posted vacancies to job boards.
Experienced in conducting comprehensive selection events, in particular assessment centres and competency-based interviews
